Reasons why you should be thankful for you dog?

Six Reasons why you should be thankful for your dogs:

Your dog is essentially a member of the family, and loving them would be like loving a child (or even a sibling) of your own. You treat them to the best kind of food possible, and you walk them whenever they want to be walked; dogs have a lot to thank their owners for. It’s pretty obvious that owners try to pamper their dogs whenever possible, but do dogs give back in any way? There are a lot of reasons as to why you should be thankful for your dog, and that’s what this article is going to cover. It should be pretty obvious as to why you love your dog, but there might be a few things you weren’t sure about! Read on and find about why you should be thankful for your dog.
Companionship – Having a companion that will stick around for the long run is fantastic, it’s one of the main reasons people tend to choose dogs over every other animal. You won’t ever be alone when you’ve got a dog, and that’s something to be thankful for. They’re great for just about everybody, all the way from a bachelor to a family of five. Since there’s so many breeds available, the odds that you find one you’ll love are as high as possible.
Love & Affection – All of us don’t have the love and affection that we’d like in our lives, and dogs can change that. Dog owners can be thankful for the fact that they own a loyal pet, ones that’s actually going to care about how their days went. You can almost feel the affection from a dog the moment you meet it, and that’s what makes them such a unique animal selection. They’re great companions for everybody and anybody.
Loyalty – We’ve already mentioned how loyal dogs can be, but you might not understand how loyal they can get. There are stories of dogs pulling owners out of house fires, and even saving children from life-threatening events. You don’t hear about any other animal getting into stuff like that, it’s just dogs (for the most part). The amount of courage and loyalty they show is astounding, and that’s something to be thankful for.
They’re Social – Social animals are perfect for those who want to talk to others, there’s nothing better than walking your dog through a public park and sharing stories with people.
They Never Complain – Dogs almost never complain about their owners, they love you for who you are. You’re the one who’s raising them, so they’re going to love you unconditionally. It doesn’t matter what the circumstances of your like might be right now, they’ll still be there!
They Put You First – The owner always comes first with dogs, they might even bring you a few presents (in the form of a dead  bird or something, of course)! They’re always thinking about how lovely their owners are, and it really show in the eyes of a canine.
