7Delicious and Detoxifying Green Drinks to Help Clear Your Skin ...
There are many benefits to starting your day with detoxifying green drinks. Some include clearer skin, deeper sleep, less stress, increased energy, better digestion, and improved circulation. This is because you’re putting cleansing greens into your body that are easy on the digestive system. The easier your food is to digest, the more energy your body can use towards getting harmful toxins out of your body because it isn’t using that energy for digestion. That means your body will have time to fight the cause of your blemished skin, and the toxins causing it will be flushed out. These detoxifying green drinks are so delicious that you will certainly enjoy doing your body a favor!

This green drink looks red because of the cherries, but actually contains kale. Kale is a dark leafy green and is very detoxifying to the body. It contains sulfur for liver detox, vitamin c for hydrating and replenishing, and fiber for detoxifying your digestive system. There is lemon juice in this smoothie like the last one, but this one also has the anti-inflammatory benefits of cherries. Cherries are loaded with cancer-fighting antioxidants to help you stay healthy. Chia seeds are also major detoxifiers, binding to excess water and flushing toxins that are in it.
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen cherries
2-4 kale cubes or a handful of fresh kale
1 cup non-dairy milk (I use SoDelicious® Coconut Milk Beverage)

I absolutely love the taste of orange in smoothies. You will have no idea that you are drinking a healthy detox drink when you are consuming this thing. What’s even better is that you won’t be able to tell it is green because of the single (yet powerful!) green leaf added. I’ve already stated the benefits of fresh ginger, mint, chia seeds, and kale. Did you know that oranges also have detoxifying #benefits? It’s true, they contain strong antioxidants (vitamin c) to help flush toxins and boost your immunity. Oranges are also rich in fiber to help better your digestion.

5. STRAWBERRY DETOX GREEN MONSTER SMOOTHIE
The frozen strawberries make this a cool and fresh summer breakfast. However, they contain some surprising detoxifying compounds that make this green smoothie extra healthy. Strawberries are packed with vitamin c, which will help you detox and clear your skin. Vitamin c has actually been shown to be anti-aging too! So not only will this drink clear your skin, but it will also help protect it for later. Cucumbers also flush toxins from your body and clear your skin.

Don’t let the short ingredients list or non-green color of this smoothie fool you – it is actually a nutrient-dense powerhouse! I’ve already discussed how beneficial #baby spinach is, but mango and blueberries are fabulous as well. Mango contains many live digestive enzymes, detoxifying vitamin c, and antioxidants. Actually, a mango contains so many enzymes that if you leave slices on your face and wash it off with warm water it helps preventacne! Blueberries contain an abundant amount of cancer-fighting antioxidants that help with anti-aging and skin.
Ingredients:
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup frozen mango
big handful of spinach
1/2 cup fat free lactaid (or #almondmilk)
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup frozen mango
big handful of spinach
1/2 cup fat free lactaid (or #almondmilk)
Directions: Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
7. BASIC KALE DETOX JUICE
Ingredients:
5 stalks of Kale or Spinach
3 Apples
1 Lemon
1 Cucumber
5 stalks of Kale or Spinach
3 Apples
1 Lemon
1 Cucumber
Directions: Juice the ingredients in a juicer. Strain if desired. Makes 16 ounces of juice.
If you add one of these green drinks to your morning routine, you are sure to see improvements in your skin among many other #things. One thing I will note is that I do not recommend only drinking liquids for more than one day, and I don’t think detoxing is good for#weight loss. It is just a short fix, not a lifestyle change, and detoxing should be about getting rid of toxins that have built up in your #body. Detox for health, not #weight loss! Have you ever done a detox before?
