Health benefits of Himalayan Salt


The Himalayan salt is pink in color and is obtained from our very own Himalayas. Extremely rich in iron which is rich in energy, and in minerals, this salt is supposed to be extremely good for health. It can be used just like normal salt; it’s rich in iodine and the good part is that it has lower amount of sodium than our regular table salt.

Amongst the many health benefits of Himalayan salt, few are:

1. Regulates Blood: Himalayan salt improves blood circulation in the body. It also dissolves and eliminates sediments in the body, to remove toxins.

2. Balances pH levels: This salt increases hydration by regulating water content in the inside as well as outside of our cells. It balances the pH level in our bodies.

3. Lowers BP: Himalayan salt is known to lower the level of blood pressure and even strengthen bones.

4. Is Mineral Rich: By eating Himalayan salt, our body gets much needed 84 minerals which go directly in our blood stream.

5. Gives Relaxing Effect: Since it gets absorbed in our blood stream quicker than our regular table salt, Himalayan salt helps relax our muscles and our mind.
