Should India celebrate 'no bra day?

No bra day:

Just this other day, a girl was walking on the road in her college campus with her head down, in deep contemplation. She could see the legs of a man who was coming from the front side.

He was walking in a somewhat haphazard manner and she just looked upwards towards him. She saw his eyes stuck at her chest. As soon as he saw her looking towards him, he looked away and just 1-2 seconds later he did that again.

  • This was not the first time something like this was happening with her.

  • She was not the first girl/woman with whom this was happening.

What I want to convey:

These things happen with most (read all) girls on every other normal day.

Now, imagine a day with this slogan ON. NO BRA DAY!

Ha! What a great topic to talk about for those creepy beings, one of whom I just mentioned above.

It is not going to spread any awareness of any kind.

There are many many other ways to make people (girls) aware about breast cancer.

Just not this.

If anything, such a day is just going to harbor a greater number of eve-teasing events, sultry and unmannerly remarks and comments on girls and increased number of rape attempts.

Every event requires a particular type of environment and surroundings to be carried out. India is not the correct place for celebrating such type of a day.
