Yes, both of them directly affect your sex life, though it may take some time. The nicotine in cigarette smoke reduces (even for each cigarette smoked) the erectile capacity of your penis. Over time you can lose its entire capacity. You will also cause damage to the sperm. In combination with alcohol, you can cause double damage to you sexual function and sperm health.
Alcohol increases the desire but affects the performance, negatively. Drinking over a long period will make your heart become enlarged and flabby. This will affect its pumping capacity and the penis? enlargement is highly dependent on a fit heart that pumps very efficiently to enjoy a good sex life.
The biggest concern is that with heavy drinking you can lose all interest in your wife, life and sex and opt instead for the bottle! Not good news at all but these are the facts. There are other indirect effects caused by the use of both substances in tandem. My advice: Stop immediately and live a fulfilling life.
